The Area of the County of Carmarthenshire is 974 square miles, and consequently 623,360 Acres, but the area of each parish has not been
ascertained (1841 Census).
Emigration: In the Returns for the County of Carmarthenshire 63 males and 49 females are stated to have emigrated to the Colonies and Foreign
Countries since 31 Dec 1840.
